We will send you a further email that will include a checklist of all the documents that we will require from you together with a further copy of these terms and conditions. It is important that you read this email and action the checklist so that we can achieve the target hand-over date for your new car. As changes in VAT rates, registration fees and vehicle excise duty our outside our control, we will have to adjust the purchase price of the car accordingly. Sometimes, Jaguar Land Rover may also increase the price of the cars and if we are unable to protect the order from this price increase, we will have to adjust the purchase price of the car accordingly. Until your order is built there may also be some changes to the vehicle specification, you will be informed by email of any such change and the impact on any remaining payments or your monthly payment accordingly.
Occasionally, an error may occur and cars may be either incorrectly priced or described on our website and this may also apply to the car that you have ordered. If we are unable to contact you or you do not wish to continue with the order at the correct price or correct description, we will cancel your order and refund any payments you have made.
We will do our best to achieve your chosen date to get your new car. There will be documentation that we will require from you in advance of the hand-over of your new car and once we have this information we will confirm an agreed date with you. The date of hand-over may very occasionally be delayed for reasons out of our control and we will inform you if this happens. All part exchange prices are indicative and based on estimated vehicle lead times at point of order. Your part exchange price will be confirmed once the vehicle is built and available for us to receive from the manufacturer. Finance and manufacturer campaigns are valid for 6 months once your order has been confirmed, delays caused by you after the point of order confirmation may lead to a variance in price. We will inform you of any price changes prior to delivery.
We offer free delivery to most of mainland UK. Unfortunately, we do not deliver to the following locations at this time: Inner and Outer Hebrides, Orkney, Northern Scotland, Shetland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, channels islands and Northern Ireland.
You will be asked to provide the original documents that we have requested in advance at the point of the hand over. On hand-over, our team will review these to ensure their authenticity and if they have any doubt we will not hand over your new car. Equally, if you are unable to provide the original documents then we will not hand over your new car. In both cases we may arrange an alternative date for the hand over with you.
If we are delivering your new car to your home we will try and achieve the agreed time but we can’t be held responsible for delays caused by things outside of our control (e.g. accidents or traffic disruption).
You agree to inspect the car on hand-over and highlight any issues at this time so that Rockar can ensure that they get satisfactorily resolved. Rockar will not accept responsibility for any damage discovered after collection.
If you have chosen to swap your old car with Rockar, then we will require proof that the car belongs to you solely. If there is any outstanding finance associated to the car this will need to be paid for you to have sole ownership. We can repay the finance on your behalf by deducting the amount from the value of your car if you wish otherwise you will be required to settle the finance before we accept the car as part payment against your new car.
The risk and title of your old car will pass to us on delivery when you swap it against your new car at the point of hand-over.
You will also need to supply all relevant documentation and items belonging to the car (for example V5 registration certificate, keys, radio codes, MOT certificate, service history, spare wheel if fitted, parcel shelf, etc.).
We value your car based on what you have told us at the point of order and the estimated delivery date of your car. If either of these assumptions change then we reserve the right to alter the valuation of your car. Your part exchange price will be confirmed once the vehicle is built and available for us to receive from the manufacturer, we will also require you to confirm your current mileage. Delays caused by you may also require us to review the price of your part exchange. We will inform you as soon as we know of any change, including the first time we see your car when we swap it for your new car. We will use the same criteria to value your car as you, but if there is any difference we will require this to be paid by debit card at the time of the swap.
We aim to provide you with all the information so that you can make your own informed decision and we do not seek to advise you in anyway. We are not independent financial advisers, but we are an appointed representative of Rockar Limited who is licensed by the Financial Conduct Authority as a Credit Broker and Intermediary. Rockar 2 Limited can be found on the FCA Register (FRN 753662) and Rockar Limited (FRN 663095). This means that we can introduce you to a limited number of lenders to assist with your purchase, who may reward us with a commission for introducing you to them. Any commission that we earn may be calculated by reference to the model selected, whether the vehicle is new or used, the age of the vehicle and/or the amount that you borrow. The amount of commission that we earn will not affect the amount of money you pay under the finance agreement as this is set by the finance company. If you want further information please email orders@rockar.com.
The monthly payment amounts we quote on the website are based on offers available today which may be changed at any point without notice. We do our utmost to ensure that these quotes are accurate, but we can’t guarantee them 100% of the time. In the rare circumstances where there is a difference, we will inform you and at this point you have the right to cancel if you are unhappy. If any details of your order changes, we will inform you of the impacted change on your finance agreement.
In applying for a Car Happy Payment Plan, you are confirming that you have reviewed the financial commitments of the proposed loan agreement (the deposit, the monthly repayments and the final optional payment if applicable) and are confident that you can meet your obligations. You are also confirming that you are not aware of any potential changes in your personal circumstances that may impact on your ability to make the loan repayments over the terms of the agreement (e.g. retirement, redundancy, career change, change in family circumstances, etc.).
In applying for a specific Car Happy Payment Plan, either a Personal Contract Purchase or Hire Purchase, you are also confirming that you have:
As a result, you are happy that you have chosen the most suitable Payment Plan that meets your requirements.
If you do choose to use one of our payment plans, then we will complete your finance application for you based on the information that you provide, so it is your responsibility to ensure that it is accurate.
The payment plans we provide are only available to UK residents (excluding the Channel Isles & the Isle of Man) and you must be over 18. The plans are subject to your status and the lenders will consider your ability to repay by carrying out their own credit approval process which will include a credit search of you with one or more Credit Reference Agencies.
If your proposal for a Payment Plan is accepted by the lenders then we will supply you with further information from the finance company, including pre-contractual information, an explanation document, a Standard European Consumer Credit Information pack and other documents. It is important to read this information as it includes the Terms & Conditions of your finance agreement, including your rights of withdrawal, termination rights, additional costs, ownership and complaints procedure. It is important to remember that you will not own the car until all the payments under the agreement are made, including any optional final payments under Personal Contract Purchase agreements.
All Rockar Car Happy payment plans have a cooling off period. You will normally sign your agreement on the hand-over of your new car. You have a 14 day cooling off period and if you wish to cancel your payment plan you can do so for no extra cost, but this will mean that you will have to find an alternative way to fund your vehicle.
You can also settle your payment plan early at any point by obtaining an early settlement quotation from your relevant finance partner.
You will become the registered keeper of the car when we register the car, but you will not take ownership of the car (“legal title”) until we have been paid in full.
If you do chose to use a finance agreement to pay for your new car, it is important to remember that the finance company will also have an interest in the car and you will not own the car until all the payments under the agreement are made, including any optional final payments under Personal Contract Purchase plan options.
We will not arrange delivery of your new car until we are happy that payment arrangements have been made to our satisfaction. Due to money laundering restrictions and the security of our team, we will always prefer to receive any remaining cash balance by bank payment/transfer 2 working days (working days = Monday – Friday 9.30am – 5pm excluding Bank Holidays) before the agreed hand-over date.
The responsibility for looking after your new car passes to you at the point of hand over and this includes insuring the car.
You have the ability to amend your order up to the point at which the hand over date is agreed between us. However, each amendment request is a new offer and a potential cancellation of the existing order.
If you do choose to request an amendment to your order, please contact us as soon as possible by emailing us at orders@rockar.com stating your name and order number. Alternatively, you can call us during normal office hours (Monday – Friday 9.30am – 5pm excluding Bank Holidays) on our local rate number 0330-200-0330 (your call may be recorded).
On receiving your amendment request, we will inform you of the impact of that change which could relate to delivery date, price of your new car and value of your old car; all of which may impact your monthly payment through your finance payment plan. If we both agree to the amendment of the order then a revised order confirmation will be sent to reflect your new order, and your old order will be cancelled.
No amendment to your order is effective until we have agreed in writing which will include email.
By submitting the order, you will have confirmed that you are not a reseller or exporter of motor cars. The vehicle that you purchase maybe an Export Prohibited Vehicle and if exported within 6 months of first registration may render Rockar liable to pay Jaguar Land Rover a 14.1% levy. You agree that should you allow the car to be exported within 6 months and the levy is imposed on Rockar to repay on demand the amount of the levy together with any costs or interest incurred.

Payment will be reimbursed using the same method as the original payment received unless an alternative method of reimbursement is agreed between us.On hand over you also have the right to cancel and this should be discussed with the Rockar team member at the time. We will confirm the cancellation of the order and refund all moneys paid within 14 days. It is your responsibility to return the goods to us at your own expense. Alternatively, we can organise the return delivery to us at a cost. Distance Selling legislation allows you to test the car on receipt, but Rockar reserves the right to deduct from any refund an amount to reflect the reduction in value in the car as a result of any unreasonable usage by you or due to any damage caused by you.
To allow for all items to be considered, all moneys paid will be refunded within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods, subject to any reduction in value as stated above. Payment will be reimbursed using the same method as the original payment received unless an alternative method of reimbursement is agreed by both parties. Any payment plan contract relating to your order will also be cancelled and any payments made under that agreement will be refunded to you. If you swapped in your old car, Rockar will return this to you unless it has already been sold. If this is the case, Rockar will pay you the value agreed within the original contract, less any payments made to clear any outstanding finance already made on your behalf.
